Da Vinci’s inventions were used as inspiration to create a space that embraced the past and the age that kick-started innovation as well as being both comfortable and collaborative. The restaurant was titled Volare, meaning “to fly” in Italian, a representation of the humanist idea to explore new ideas and a tribute to one of Da Vinci’s first mechanical invention which also inspired the styled-wing custom light fixture.
