PERSONAL OFFICE - TYBEE ISLAND, GA
The challenge was to design an office catered to the desires and branding of one assigned classmate, the client. The client’s personal logo, style, and space programing had to be taken into account when designing.
Furthermore, the client’s textile design was to be incorporated somewhere in the design.
Situated in Tybee Island, Georgia, the client loved the beach and requested an office that included a lot of natural light and a view of the ocean, thus large windows were installed near her personal office and a rooftop patio was incorporated. The interior illustrated a coastal style and included her branding colors - teal, yellow, and white. Her personal textile, titled Glaciers, was incorporated in the rug pattern and there was space for a break room and collaboration table, all within view of her personal office space. The black and white views are part of a composition practice completed in an electronic media class.
